Rick Wood brings more than 20 years of global consumer product experience, with particular expertise in Brand Management, Consumer Insights, and Product Creation. At ArchPoint, Rick is a visionary partner when it comes to products who utilizes his experience to help organizations with long term strategic planning.
Rick spent more than 18 years at VF Corporation, working with brands including The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Reef, JanSport and SmartWool. Throughout his career, he led teams in sales optimization, product development, marketing, M&A and strategy development and execution. As the President of VF’s Outdoor & Action Sports group of brands in Europe, the Middle East ,and Africa, Rick successfully led the growth of a number of brands in becoming the leaders in their respective markets.
Rick’s experience ranges from small entrepreneurial brands to multi-billion dollar global category leaders, while his international business experience refined his expertise in applying consistent global brand values while respecting the needs of individual markets.
Rick studied economics at the University of Manitoba and currently resides in Quebec, Canada
